Winter Fruit Chutney

Ingredients

You can make this chutney up to 1 week in advance.
1 apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
1 pear, peeled, cored, and chopped
1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins
1 shallot, minced
1 strip orange zest and 1/4 cup juice from 1 orange
2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 sprig rosemary or thyme
Winter Fruit Chutney

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until fruit is softened and mixture is thickened, about 15 minutes.
2. Discard rosemary sprig and serve warm or chilled.
