1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp. fresh rosemary leaves
1 1/2 cups gin
1 cup pear nectar
1/4 cup lemon juice from 2 lemons
1 bottle sparkling wine, chilled
Rosemary sprigs, for garnish
1 pear, sliced thin for garnish
Sparkling Pear-Rosemary Punch

Directions

1. Combine sugar, water, and rosemary in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Set aside to cool for 30 minutes; strain before using.
2. In a punch bowl, combine gin, pear nectar, lemon juice, and cooled rosemary syrup over a large cube of ice. When guests arrive, add sparkling wine to bowl. Garnish glasses with rosemary sprigs and pear slices and let guests help themselves.
