Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

This streamlined take on cabbage rolls serves up the same great flavor in half the time it takes to make the traditional dish.
1 lb. Taste of Inspirations 91% lean ground beef
1 tsp. Nature's Place All-Purpose Seasoning
1 (28-oz.) can Hannaford No Salt Added Tomato Sauce
1 cup Hannaford Instant Brown Rice
1/2 cup water
8 cups chopped or shredded napa cabbage (from 1 head)
2 tsp. red or white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. sugar
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup Hannaford Light Sour Cream

Directions

1. Add beef and seasoning to a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring to break beef up into small pieces, and cook until no longer pink, 6 to 8 minutes.
2. Stir in tomato sauce, rice, and water and bring to a simmer. Add cabbage and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir, re-cover, and continue to cook until cabbage is tender and rice is cooked, about 5 more minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in vinegar and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with sour cream.
