Pita Pizzas

Ingredients

4 (7") pita breads
3/4 cup pizza sauce
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tomatoes, sliced
Chopped fresh basil, for serving
Red pepper flakes, for serving (optional)
Pita Pizzas

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place pitas on a baking sheet and divide sauce evenly over tops. Sprinkle evenly with cheese and top with tomato slices.
3. Transfer baking sheet to oven and bake until cheese is melted and tomatoes are lightly browned, 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with basil and red pepper flakes (if using) before serving.
