Citrusy Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

This recipe requires at least 8 hours of chilling time.
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 (12-oz.) bag fresh cranberries
2 Tbsp. orange marmalade
Citrusy Cranberry Sauce

Directions

1. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
2. Return liquid to a boil and add cranberries. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst, 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Add marmalade, then use a potato masher to mash cranberries to desired consistency. Transfer to a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate until set and very chilled, 8 to 12 hours.
