Ingredients

Homemade meatballs are weeknight easy: Just remove sausage from their casings, add Parmesan and shape. They complete this simple, Italian-inspired sheet pan meal.
1 (28-oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, drained
1 lb. broccoli rabe, trimmed and cut into 1" pieces
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
3 Tbsp. olive oil, plus more as needed
1 lb. sweet Italian sausage links
6 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 (10-oz.) package frozen garlic bread
Sausage Meatballs with Tomatoes and Broccoli Rabe

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, broccoli rabe, Italian seasoning and oil. Season with salt and pepper. Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Remove sausage from casings and add to large bowl along with 2 tablespoons Parmesan. Using hands, mix together until combined. Shape sausage mixture into 1 1/2" balls and place on baking sheet with vegetables. Sprinkle entire baking sheet with 2 tablespoons Parmesan. Bake 15 minutes.
Gently shake pan to flip meatballs. Sprinkle remaining 2 tablespoons Parmesan over baking sheet. Bake until broccoli rabe is crispy and meatballs are cooked through, another 10 to 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, bake garlic bread according to package directions. Serve with meatballs and vegetables.
