Established 1883. Named after Louis Mel, who brought Sauvignon Blanc cuttings from Chateau d'Yquem in the 1880s. Our family has cultivated these vines for generations, and today, most of the world's Sauvignon Blanc originates from these cuttings. Profile: Crisp acidity, bright citrus, refreshing finish.
