Well, when it comes to Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors, apparently everything. You see, Coffee Toffee Bar Crunch used to be called something else. At first, the name change freaked fans out. We were flattered…who knew a few simple words meant so much. However, the meltdown was averted once fanatics heard the reason for the rename. It all stems from Ben & Jerry’s commitment to using Fairtrade certified and non-GMO sourced ingredients. This meant tweaking the ice cream recipe with equally delicious, responsibly sourced fudge-covered toffee candy bars in place of the original. We love it and know you will, too! Of course, everything else about Coffee Toffee Crunch is just as delicious and equally positive. Like every Ben & Jerry’s frozen dessert, all of the ingredients are non-GMO sourced, and the coffee, cocoa, sugar, and vanilla are Fairtrade certified. Cage-free hens provide the eggs, and our Caring Dairy family farms and their herds of happy cows deliver the certified kosher milk and cream in a sustainable way. This ice cream pint is wrapped up in responsibly sourced packaging to have as little impact as possible.
