For stove-top preparation, pour sauce pouch and contents of the bag into a skillet with water, stir and simmer until heated through according to package instructions. For even faster preparation, microwave the mac and cheese frozen meal according to the package instructions. Stove Top: Preferred method. Cook only one full bag at a time. (1) Open both sauce pouches and empty into a large nonstick skillet. Add frozen meal and 1/2 cup of water. (2) Cover and cook over medium-high heat 13 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. (3) Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Careful, it's hot! Stir and serve. Microwave Oven: Do not microwave in bag. Cook only half of the bag at a time. (1) Open one sauce pouch and empty into an 8-inch square microwave-safe dish. Add half of the frozen meal (about 3-1/4 cups) and cover. (2) Microwave on high 5 minutes; stir thoroughly and replace cover. (3) Microwave an additional 4 to 6 minutes. (4) Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Careful, it's hot! Let stand covered 2 minutes. Stir and serve. For Food Safety and Quality: Keep frozen. Do not thaw. Microwave directions developed with 1100-watt microwave ovens. Appliances vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Food must be cooked thoroughly to 165 degrees F. Keep frozen; do not thaw; cook as directed.
