Directions
Directions: Stovetop: Bring 2/3 cup water to a boil. Add oats, reduce heat to medium low and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand for 2-3 minutes. If desired, add 1 tbsp hot water to adjust texture to taste. Stir well before eating. Boiling Water: Place oats in a heatproof bowl and add 2/3 cup boiling water. Stir, cover and let stand for 3-5 minutes. If desired, add 1 tbsp hot water to adjust texture to taste. Stir well before eating. Microwave: Place oats in a microwave-safe bowl and add 2/3 cup water. Stir, cover and microwave on high for 1 - 1-1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Let stand for 30-60 seconds. If desired, add 1 tbsp hot water to adjust texture to taste. Stir well before eating. Caution: Bowl and contents will be hot. Microwaves vary. Adjust cooking time as needed. Store in a cool, dry place. Insert tab to close.
