If the tape wraps around fingers or catches on a ring, a hard pull on the leash can amputate fingers. Do not allow the tape to wrap around any part of your body. Do not use this leash with disobedient or uncontrollable dogs; they are more likely to wrap the leash around people or to run off at high speed, causing injury to themselves or others. Avoid using this leash near small children, including children in strollers.

Directions for use: To operate: Hold the retractable leash by the handle, not the leash webbing, as this may cause cuts or burns. To lock brake: Press the brake button down firmly, and with your thumb push forward on the lock. To stop leash: Press the brake button down firmly with your thumb. To release brake lock: Press the brake button backwards with your thumb and slowly release the brake button.
