Everyday. 2 - stage: coarse & fine. Grips onto countertops and edges. 2-Stage knife sharpener. Sharpens dull knives and maintains already sharpened blades. 2-Stage sharpening with Carbide blades (Coarse) and Ceramic rods (Fine). Secure, non-slip base grips onto countertops and edges with its angled footing. Wipe the sharpener clean with a damp cloth and do not immerse in water. Please recycle this package.

Quick Tip: Always secure the sharpener on a clean surface and ensure stability before sharpening. How to Use: Hold knife with blade 90 degrees to the countertop. Stroke knife edge through appropriate stage with moderate pressure, from heel to point. Repeat until blade is sharpened. Stage 1: Coarse sharpens and redefines the proper blade angle on dull knives. Do not use on serrated blades. Usually 3-4 passes. Stage 2: Fine light honing finishes and polishes knife edges. To maintain an already sharp blade or a serrated blade, start here. Usually 1-2 passes.
