This frozen spinach provides 80 calories per serving, and is available in a convenient easy-to-stack box with a microwavable pouch inside for easy preparation. To enjoy this frozen creamed spinach, microwave it in the pouch on high according to package directions. Keep Green Giant spinach frozen until you are ready to cook and refrigerate any leftovers. Must cook thoroughly. See cook instructions. Cooking Directions: For food safety and quality, follow the Direction. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degree F. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not thaw. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Microwave (Recommended Method): Remove pouch from carton. Place pouch, printed side up, on microwavable plate. Do not cut slit in pouch. Microwave on high according to chart until thoroughly cooked. Microwave Wattage: 1200; Time on High*: 5 to 6 min. Microwave Wattage: 1000; Time on High*: 6-1/2 to 7-1/2 min. Microwave Wattage: 700; Time on High*: 8-1/2 to 9-1/2 min. Let stand 1 minute. Caution: Hot! Pull or cut to open. Empty into serving dish; stir. * Microwave ovens vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Product will vent while cooking; a popping sound may be heard. Stove Top: Important: Do not heat pouch in boiling water. Empty contents of pouch into 2-quart nonstick saucepan, Cover. Cook on medium heat for 11 to 17 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked. Break up and stir occasionally. Keep frozen. Push.
