Cooking Directions: Stovetop: In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water, 1 tbsp margarine or butter (optional) and contents of package to a boil. Stir, reduce heat and simmer covered, 7 minutes, or until rice is tender. Let stand 2 minutes. Stir and serve. Sauce will thicken upon standing. Microwave: In a 2-quart microwaveable-safe casserole dish or bowl, combine 2-1/4 cups water, 1 tbsp margarine or butter (optional) and contents of package. Microwave uncovered on high about 12 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir and serve. Sauce will thicken upon standing. * Microwave times may vary. Caution: Bowl will be hot.
