Adobo chicken gets its signature flavor from simmering in soy sauce, white vinegar, brown sugar, and aromatics like onion, garlic, and bay leaves. To prepare our easy recipe, brown chicken thighs, add seasoning mix, water and soy sauce, and simmer until chicken is cooked through. Serve over a bed of rice.

Filipino Style Adobo Chicken: Prep Time: 5 minutes. Cook Time: 15 minutes. Makes 5 servings. You Will Need: 1 pkg. McCormick Seasoning Mix. 2/3 cup water. 1 tbsp. soy sauce. 1 tbsp. oil. 5 boneless skinless thighs (about 1-1/2 lbs.). 2 tbsp. chopped green onions. Directions: 1. Mix seasoning mix, water and soy sauce in small bowl. Set aside. 2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned. 3. Add sauce mixture. Bring to boil. Cover and reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Sprinkle with green onions. Serve over cooked rice, if desired. Kitchen Tips: Also great with boneless chicken breast or boneless pork chops. For an easy Chicken & Vegetable Adobo Stir-Fry, cut chicken into bite size pieces. Prepare sauce as directed in Step 1. Heat oil in skillet; stir-fry chicken and 2 cups cut-up veggies until chicken is cooked through. Stir in sauce and simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until slightly thickened. Serve over cooked rice, if desired.
