Bring home the unique taste of Korean-style BBQ with McCormick Korean BBQ Seasoning Mix. This convenient seasoning mix infuses steak, pork, or chicken with savory and sweet flavors for a mouthwatering meal that's ready in 25 minutes. Korean BBQ Seasoning Mix is made with ingredients often found in Korean-style BBQ marinade – brown sugar, garlic, onion, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. To prepare our easy recipe for Korean-style BBQ beef or bulgogi, toss sirloin or ribeye steak strips in seasoning mix. Sear steak in a skillet then remove. Sauté onion, add water and soy sauce, and return steak to the skillet. Spoon over rice for dinner with irresistible savory, sweet flavor.
Directions
Korean BBQ: Prep Time: 10 minutes. Cook Time: 15 minutes. Makes 5 servings. You Will Need: 1 pkg. McCormick Seasoning Mix; 1 lb. sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into very thin strips; 3 tbsp. oil, divided; 1/2 cup yellow onion, thinly sliced; 1/4 cup water; 1 tbsp. soy sauce. Directions: 1. Toss steak with Seasoning Mix in medium bowl until evenly coated. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in large skillet on L medium-high heat. Add steak; cook, stirring gently, just until seared, about 3 minutes. Remove from skillet. 3. Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in same skillet. Add onion. Cook and stir 3 minutes or until softened. Add water and soy sauce. Return steak to skillet, tossing to mix. Serve over hot cooked rice, if desired, topped with kimchi or Asian pickled vegetables. Kitchen Tips: Place raw steak in freezer for 30 minutes before slicing - this makes it easier to cut into thin strips. Try with pork or chicken. Make a DIY Korean BBQ rice bowl and top with kimchi, cucumbers and carrots, or any of your favorite veggies!
