Pour over biscuits, chicken fried steak, fried chicken or home fries for meals with homemade taste. Our gravy mix is made with McCormick herbs & spices, including black pepper, sage and fennel, and no artificial flavors or added MSG*. For perfectly smooth gravy in minutes, simply mix with 2 cups water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 minute. It makes 2 cups of delicious sausage flavored gravy for serving at breakfast, brunch or fried chicken dinners. Try it in a breakfast casserole with sausage, eggs, cheese and cubed bread for a hearty morning dish. *Except those naturally occurring glutamates.

Directions

Total Time: 10 minutes. Makes 2 cups. You Will Need. 1 pkg. McCormick gravy Mix. 2 cups cold water. Stovetop Directions: (1) Stir water gradually into gravy mix with whisk in medium saucepan. (2) Stirring frequently, cook on medium heat until gravy comes to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute. (Gravy will thicken upon standing). Microwave Directions: (1) Stir water into Gravy Mix in 2-quart microwavable bowl. (2) Microwave on high 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring after each minute. Microwave ovens vary; cook time is approximate. Must be cooked for food safety. Kitchen Tips: Serve over biscuits, chicken fried steak, fried chicken or home fries. Creamier Gravy: Use 1 cup water and 1 cup milk to prepare gravy.
