Servings: 6; Water (cups): 5; Oats (cups): 3; Salt (optional): 1/4 tsp Make on Stovetop: 1. Bring water to a boil. 2. Stir oats in slowly. 3. Simmer 3-5 minutes over medium heat: stirring occasionally. Note: For creamier oatmeal, combine water, salt and oats; bring to a boil: cook as directed. Make in Microwave (one serving): 1. Combine water, salt and oats in a medium sized microwaveable bowl. 2. Microwave on high 2-4 minutes: stir before serving.
