Microwave Preparation: Servings:1; Oats: 1/3 cup; Water: 3/4 cup; Salt#: Dash. 1. Combine oats, water*, and salt in a deep microwave-safe bowl. 2. Microwave on 50% power 2-1/2 to 3 minutes. 3. Stir and allow to cool 2-3 minutes before serving. Caution: Bowl and contents may be hot. Microwave ovens vary in power. Cooking time may need to be adjusted. * To avoid boil over, refrain from adding milk until after cooking. # For low sodium diets, omit salt.
