Directions

Lightning Instructions: For best results, start your fire 15 minutes before cooking. Natural Light Method: 1. Open air vents on grill and arrange charcoal in a pile in the center of the grill or fill a charcoal chimney with briquets. 2. Use Tumbleweeds Natural Fire Starters to light your charcoal. Place a fire starter in the middle of the charcoal pile and then light it. When using a charcoal chimney place a fire starter beneath the chimney and then light it. 3. Wait until flames die down and briquets begin to ash over. Then spread the briquets. If using a charcoal chimney wait until flames are visible and then pour briquets into the grill. Begin grilling. Lighter Fluid Method: 1. Open air vents on grill and arrange charcoal in a pile in the center of the grill. Follow lighter fluid container directions. 2. Light the pile in several places. 3. In approximately 10 minutes, or when the pile is predominately ashed over, spread charcoal evenly. Wait 5 minutes and begin cooking.
