The History of Griffeth's Farm: Griffeth Farms has been producing potatoes and small grains in Northern Maine since the 1930's. Due to the misfortunes of the potato industry and limited alternative crops in the region the farm went through some really challenging times in the 1980's. Stubborn and unwilling to give up on his dream of three sons farming together, John Griffeth was able to keep the farm in business. In the early 1990's, Griffeth Farms began supplying processing potatoes to local factories. In 1996 John II aka John Boy began farming, in 1999 Stephen began farming and in 2001 Matt joined the team. John Griffeth had achieved his dream and Triple G Sales was formed in 2009. Currently Griffeth Farms uses the latest technology and sustainable agronomy practices to guaranty safe and tasty potatoes for the future generations. Chase and Grayden came back to the farm in 2025 making Griffeth Farms a three generation family-owned farm.
