It began in 1987, when a young Scott Martin, just 14 years old, planted his first three acres of potatoes. What started as a modest teenage venture quickly revealed a passion for agriculture that would grow into a lifelong calling. Raised in a hardworking French Canadian family tradition, Scott carried forward the values of perseverance, resourcefulness, and pride in the land. Those early lessons shaped not only his work ethic but also the foundation of the farm itself. Over the decades, Scott steadily expanded his operation, building it acre by acre through dedication and long hours. Today, Scott Martin Family Farm spans approximately 500 acres across the Caribou and Co area, a region well known for its rich soils and ideal climate for growing high-quality potatoes.
