Boothbay Harbor Hannaford to host celebration

The Boothbay Harbor Hannaford Supermarket will host a Grand Reopening celebration on Saturday, June 13 to recognize the completion of a project that introduced hundreds of additional items to the store and improved the shopping experience for customers.

 

The project added a second entrance to the store and provides a fresh, new look to the supermarket. Nearly 700 new items, including many additional natural and organic products, are now available.

 

"Many customers have told us they appreciate both the increased variety of products and the renovations that have made the Boothbay Harbor Hannaford an even nicer place to shop," said acting Store Manager Susan McCullough.  "We appreciate our customers' patience during the renovation process and hope everyone will join us on June 13 to celebrate all the improvements."

Where: Route 27, 180 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor
Highlights: Gift cards (randomly valued between $5 and $250) given to the first 300 customers; free sampling of local products; activities.

 

The Boothbay Harbor Regional Chamber of Commerce recently honored the store with the organization's annual Business Improvement Award for the project and for the contributions the Boothbay Harbor Hannaford provides to the region's residents and economy.
