Belfast Hannaford begins remodel to enhance customer convenience

Store to add Hannaford To Go and more in-store prepared offerings

In-store associate navigators and signage to help inform during remodel

 

Belfast, ME—The Belfast Hannaford Supermarket and Pharmacy began its multi-month renovation this month designed to offer customers a greater level of convenience and variety of new product offerings, once completed. The store, located at 93 Lincolnville Ave., expects renovations to be complete by early summer. 

 

The renovated store will include an array of new features aimed at providing customers with more fresh and convenient meal solutions, increased variety of products, the addition of Hannaford To Go— online shopping with curbside pickup, increased privacy at the pharmacy, and other details that will be revealed in the coming months. 

 

“We are very much looking forward to our customers having an easier and more convenient shopping experience once the renovations are complete,” said Eric Breton, store manager of the Belfast Hannaford. “The addition of Hannaford To Go and the expansion of fresh ready -made food options will enhance the current customer experience of dedicated customer service, every day low prices and fresh, high quality produce.”

 

To help mitigate any disruption to shoppers during the renovation, starting in February, there will be in-store associate “navigators” on hand to answer questions about product relocation. In addition, there will be store maps available in the store’s foyer and at the end of each aisle to help guide shoppers through the store. And, for up-to-date renovation status, a dedicated community information board is located in the store’s foyer.

 

Breton added, “Over the course of the next several months, the store will undergo temporary changes to streamline the renovation while keeping the store operational and minimizing disruptions to customers. We ask our customers to hang in there with us and be patient. The remodel will be worth it by providing an enhanced store experience, online ordering, and more variety.”
