Bucksport Hannaford to Celebrate Grand Reopening
The Bucksport Hannaford will host a grand reopening celebration on Dec. 13 to mark the completion of a renovation project that gave the supermarket a fresh look and added new products that local shoppers will enjoy.
"Customers will find the same low everyday prices and high-quality products that they need, along with a lot of new features at their Bucksport Hannaford," said Store Manager Chris Flynn. "We hope that the community will come to the celebration for a fun time and to see the improvements we have made."
New features include more than 1,100 additional natural and organic items, an expanded frozen foods section with an extra half-aisle of product, a Mediterranean bar, and expanded meat and produce offerings.
The Grand Reopening Celebration will begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Bucksport Hannaford, 370 Main Street, Bucksport. Activities will include:
• A reusable snack bag, each containing a gift card randomly valued up to $250, for the first 300 customers
• Food sampling for customers and the distribution of activity books to up to 100 children
• Giveaways, coupons and the chance to enter a sweepstakes where the grand prize is $1,000 in groceries

On Sunday, Dec. 14, the store also will offer holiday appetizer sampling to customers.
