Celebration planned for Lewiston Hannaford
The Lewiston Hannaford Supermarket & Pharmacy will host a Grand Reopening event on Saturday, Sept. 8 to celebrate the completion of a renovation project that introduced a wide range of improvements, including hundreds of new natural and organic items, online grocery ordering and a Kitchen for fresh-made meals.
The supermarket has added more than 600 new organic and natural products, and introduced many more products that make meal planning and snack decisions simple. These include fresh-made stir fry, breakfast sandwiches and other options such as in-store made salads and sandwiches; a hot-food bar; and sushi made right at the store.
The Lewiston Hannaford now also offers shoppers a Café with more than 20 seats, where customers can relax and enjoy fresh-made food.
Busy customers will be able to order their groceries online through Hannaford To Go. Store associates assemble the items and bring groceries to the customer’s car when they arrive.

“We have made improvements across the store, both inside and out, with new décor, services and products,” said Store Manager Jessica Clark. “The remodeled Lewiston Hannaford offers customers who are in a hurry great choices for grabbing what they need, while providing a wonderful environment for those customers who want to browse or enjoy a meal right there.”
In celebration of the Grand Reopening, Hannaford will be donating $5,000 to community organizations.
“We hope that everyone will come see all that their new Lewiston Hannaford has to offer,” Clark said.
