Celebration planned at Goffstown Hannaford

Goffstown, N.H. – The Goffstown Hannaford Supermarket & Pharmacy will host a Grand Reopening event on Saturday, Feb. 4 to celebrate the completion of a renovation project that brought a wide variety of new products and services to the store.

 

The supermarket now offers made-to-order foods such as stir fry and other from-the-grill offerings, along with handcrafted sandwiches and in-store produced Paninis. Customers can eat at the store's new Wi-Fi equipped café or take the food home for an easy meal.

 

"Shoppers will find many new healthy and affordable products here in Goffstown, including 175 additional organic and natural items," said Store Manager Carl Provencher. "The entire supermarket has a fresh look.  We hope the whole community will come celebrate with us and see all that their Goffstown Hannaford has to offer."

 

What: Grand Reopening Celebration
When: Beginning at 7 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4
Where: Goffstown Hannaford Supermarket & Pharmacy, 605 Mast Road
Highlights: The first 300 customers receive gift cards randomly valued between $5 and $250; food sampling; door prizes; and other activities.

 

The remodeled store also provides a private consultation room in the Pharmacy where customers can speak confidentially with pharmacists or receive flu shots.  The store continues to offer Hannaford To Go, a service that allows customers to order groceries online and pick them up at the store.

 

In recognition of the Grand Reopening, the store will donate $3,500 to community organizations. Five local schools and two groups will receive $500 each: Glen Lake School, Bartlett Elementary School, Maple Ave Elementary School, Mountain View Middle School, Goffstown High School, Goffstown Rail Trail and Team Uncanoonuc Special Olympics.
