Store announces expansion of fresh and convenient in-store offerings

 
Ellsworth, ME - The Hannaford Supermarket & Pharmacy in Ellsworth will reveal new offerings after recent renovations in a month-long customer appreciation and reopening celebration from June 7 through June 28.
 
Fresh food is highlighted in the new design, and the expanded Produce Department now has the abundant feel of a green grocery store within the supermarket. The revamped deli kitchen now includes a stir fry grill, hand-battered fried chicken, hot bar with entrée options, and in-store prepared sushi, sandwiches and salads. The seafood department has a wider offering of freshly cut grab and go seafood. Across the store, there is increased variety in natural and organic products with the addition of 650 new items to store shelves, 140 new dairy items, and expanded bakery offerings with a focus on gluten free options.
 
Additionally the store now features an updated pharmacy including a patient consultation room so that customers can speak privately with their pharmacist or receive an immunization, six self-checkout registers, and a new CLYNK facility outside the store. Hannaford to Go became available to customers in December, allowing customers to order their groceries online and pick up in store.
 
“We are very happy to be able to offer such an expanded lineup of grocery items to our customers, as well as in-store prepared items that will save them time without sacrificing quality,” said Nick Bartlett, Store Manager. “The remodeled pharmacy, including a new private patient consultation area, is something we’re also very excited to offer to our customers.”
 
In conjunction with the Customer Appreciation Events, the Ellsworth Hannaford will announce recipients of $4,000 in donations in the coming weeks.
