Expansion planned for Ossipee Hannaford
Ossipee, N.H. – Hannaford Supermarkets has proposed a 9,000-square-foot expansion of its Ossipee store that would greatly increase the variety and selection of products available to local customers.
The store, which is located at the intersection of routes 28 and 16, would grow to 35,000 square feet under the proposal. As part of the expansion, Hannaford also would install new equipment that reduces energy and water consumption and fixtures to update the appearance of the supermarket and pharmacy.
"The expansion will provide customers with many new fresh, frozen and packaged products across the store," said Eric Blom, Hannaford spokesman. "Customers also will appreciate the fresh look of their Ossipee Hannaford."
Pending town approval, Hannaford hopes to begin construction later this year and complete the project by spring of 2016.
