“We are excited about all the new products and features that we have added to the Hampstead Hannaford and are looking forward to showing them off,” said Store Manager Daniel Wilder. “We appreciate customers’ patience during the remodel process. Now that the work is done, I encourage shoppers to come see the improvements and to celebrate with us on April 5.”
Hampstead’s Hannaford has added an additional aisle of frozen food and more than 2,500 new items throughout, including many more natural, organic and gluten-free products. The gluten-free section has grown from 8 feet to a 24-foot-long display. The store also has a new wing bar and an expanded salad bar, with additional hot-food options for customers in a hurry.
The pharmacy has added a private consultation room for those who need additional privacy while discussing medication and health issues, and for those receiving a flu shot or other vaccination. The store has added a community room that will be made available for use by local organizations and for meetings with the store’s registered dietician.
New “queue-buster” technology will make the check-out process even faster.
The Hampstead renovation represents Hannaford’s latest investment in New Hampshire as it continues to grow in the state. The company opened its 34th New Hampshire store in Exeter on March 8 and has more supermarkets statewide than any other grocer.
