Wappingers Falls Hannaford donates $6,000 to local nonprofits
Three community organizations have received donations of $2,000 each
Wappingers Falls, NY – In line with the company’s commitment to community, Hannaford Supermarket in Wappingers Falls has donated a total of $6,000 to local community organizations. This weekend, the store donated $2,000 each to the Wappinger Little League, Wappinger Soccer Club, and Friends of Spookhill Park.
“We are lucky to be part of an amazing community here in Wappingers Falls, and these donations are reflective of our dedication to the local families that make up that community,” said Rod Duncan, Store Manager. “We are happy to contribute to these organizations that help make our region a great place to live and work.”
These donations were made in conjunction with Grand Reopening events held this month at the Wappingers Falls store. After renovations, the store is now able to offer a wider range of products and services to customers, including more variety at in-store Kitchens, an expanded Produce Department and 160+ new Nature’s Place products, and Pharmacies that offer customers a private consultation room to speak privately with their pharmacist or receive an immunization.
