1. Heat oven to 400 degrees with a rack in middle position.
2. Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high until shimmering. Add sausage and onion and cook, stirring and breaking sausage into small pieces, until cooked through, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in spinach and remove from heat.
3. Place naan on a baking sheet. Spread 1 tablespoon pesto evenly over each, leaving a 1/2" border all around. Top evenly with sausage mixture, then sprinkle with cheese and tomatoes.
4. Bake pizzas until cheese is melted and edges are lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Serve alongside salad.
