At Hannaford, food safety is our number one priority. You depend on us to provide high quality, nutritious foods and to keep food safe. We take that responsibility very seriously. We’re concerned about every aspect of the food we sell, from where our products come from, to how they're handled in our distributions centers, trucks and stores. We know it's important to earn the trust you place in us every day. We have a staff of more than 50 associates who serve as our food safety and quality assurance experts spanning many backgrounds and disciplines, including food safety, food science, quality assurance, nutritional, pharmaceutical, military, regulatory and other related fields. Together, they ensure that our foods are handled according to strict guidelines so that they are always fresh, safe and nutritious.
