Hannaford and Mighty Spark partner to donate 76,817 meals to people in need

Scarborough, Maine - A recent partnership between Hannaford and Mighty Spark has yielded 76,817 donated meals*, which will be distributed to seven food banks in the Feeding America network local to Hannaford stores.

 

The donated meals are a result of a local giving campaign held from May 1 to July 31, 2024. For every Mighty Spark product purchased at Hannaford throughout the campaign, Mighty Spark donated one meal. Thanks to the support from Hannaford shoppers, 76,817 Mighty Spark products were purchased during the timeframe, resulting in 76,817 meals donated. The food banks that will receive the donations include:
