Leominster Hannaford store associates commemorate work serving the community during COVID-19 pandemic with unique photo shoot

 

Leominster, Mass. - Associates at the Twin City Hannaford store in Leominster recently took part in a special photo shoot designed to commemorate their time as essential workers during the coronavirus global health pandemic. 

 

Leominster store manager Amy Walsh organized the photo shoot with local photographer Mat Plamondon, who also serves as an associate at the supermarket, in recognition of the dedication and commitment of the store’s full-time, part-time and temporary associates while serving the community’s needs over the past several months.

 

Walsh ordered special t-shirts for each associate emblazoned with the words: “2020 – The Year Grocery Workers Helped Save the World.” The associates wore the t-shirts while posing as superheroes both inside and in front of the store. 

 

“My team has been amazing through all of this. They have shown up every single day, being kind to the customers and their teammates. The way our associates have adapted to all of the changes is to be commended,” said Walsh. 

 

The Leominster Hannaford store is located at 927 Merriam Avenue. Current store hours are Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The store offers dedicated shopping hours for seniors and high-risk individuals from 7 to 8 a.m. daily.
