Out of an abundance of caution, the Hannaford store at 50 Pigeon Hill Road in Mechanic Falls is recalling Hannaford brand 80 percent lean ground beef purchased at the store on Tuesday, April 8 between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. with a sell-by date of April 11, 2025 because the item(s) may contain foreign material. Customers should check their storage and freezer areas for this product and not eat the product. Product or its packaging may be returned to the store for a full refund.
