Ingredients
3 cups roughly chopped tender herbs (parsley, basil, dill, mint, tarragon, and/or cilantro)
1/2 cup walnuts
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 garlic clove
Salt and pepper
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

directions
1. Pulse herbs in a food processor until finely chopped, about 15 times. Add walnuts, Parmesan, garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon salt and process until ingredients are finely chopped, about 1 minute.
2. With machine running, slowly add oil and process until just combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pesto can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 day.
