Ingredients
Vanilla, maple syrup and warm spices bring this this protein-rich smoothie together, the almond butter and almond milk make it great for your heart. Bonus benefit: a serving of fruit!
2 c. unsweetened almond milk
1/4 t. cinnamon
1/2 T. maple syrup
1/4 t. vanilla extract
Pinch allspice
Pinch nutmeg
1 T, natural almond butter
1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 T. ground flaxseed

directions
1. Warm almond milk over low/medium heat until small bubbles form. Whisk in cinnamon, maple syrup, vanilla extract, allspice and nutmeg.
